I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use some of the keys on the iPhone scientific calculator, not having experience with a Texas Instruments version of same. Like the "y raised to the power of x" button. Can anyone help me?
iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.6.8), VMWare Fusion- WinXP, Win7, MBP
Tap the fist number (which is y), tap the function key (such as y to the power of x), tap the second number (which is x), tap =. Example: 5 cubed would be entered as 5 "y to the x key" 3 = (answer 125). The cubed root of 125 woud be entered as 125 "x root of y key" 3 = (answer 5).

5 "y to the x key" 3 does not equal 125. It equals 243. This means the "y to the x key" is actually doing 3^5 (3 to the power of 5).
