Just installed the newest version of QuickTime and now my Camtasia produced mp4s will not play the video. Is there a fix?
Open QuickTime Player and one of your files.
Open the Movie Inspector window (Window menu) and report its "Format".
Format
H.264 Decoder, 1280x720,Millions AAC, Stereo (L R), 44.100 kHz
H.264 should display just fine in QuickTime Player 7. The same with AAC audio.
Open QuickTime Player and then "Open File" (File menu) and navigate to one of your .mp4 files.
Does it open and play?
I have tried that several times. The audio works but there is no video. Both worked before I updated QuickTime. I am creating lecture videos in Camtasia Studio and saving them as an mp4. I was hoping to view the videos in QuickTime. As a quick fix I have downloaded MediaPayerLite which works fine. But I would rather use QuickTime if I can get it to work.

What are you seeing in the QuickTime Player other than video? (A green screen, patches of color, something else?)
The screen is completely black. Audio sounds fine.
Do you get that if you view any videos on the PC? (Including the QuickTime sample movie down in your program files?
