The problem is localised to my main account with the following for Adobe Flash: "You have version 11,8,800,168 installed".

Do you know what the next steps are?

interestingly, I joined the the html 5 test to get you tube working again.. but it now works, thank you.

After checking and verifying that I was not signed up for the html5 test, I tried just restarting Safari... Worked like a charm!
