Text in some tables not visible

I've noticed that with some .pages documents which have converted from word, when there are big table cells in word which would normally flow to the next page, with Pages, it's like the text stays in the cell, but runs off the end of the page, so you end up not seeing the extra text (either on screen or when it prints). I'm not sure if that's a clear explanation, but hopefully some one can help! Thanks in anticipation.

Rows in a table in Pages cannot break across a page boundary. If a row is longer than a page the excess will "disappear" below the page break. If it's just that one row you could click to place the cursor in that row & then select all to copy & paste the contents in the main body of the document. Another option would be to change the document size to something bigger like US Legal or A4 long to be able to fit more on a page.

I think the best option is to convert the table to text. For that you need to select the table, not having the cursor active in a cell & then go to Format > Table > Convert Table to Text. Or you could copy & paste the table into a Numbers document not in print preview mode.
