french and chinese input source mix up?

here is the problem: i have US, canadian french and chinese pinyin enabled as input source, in that specific order, (where can i change the order?)

and to switch input, i use the shortcut option+cmd+space

now how to reproduce the error:

say im in US mode, the key to the left of the right shift will give me "/", normal

hit shortcut, it switches to cnd french, that key gives me "é", normal again

hit shortcut, in pinyin, that key will still give me "é", what it should be, is "/"

also, i found out, to avoid this problem, when i am under US, i can hold option and cmd, and press space twice. it sort of skips over the french input.

this is under lion, with all the updates
