i want to unlock my iphone
That is the only official way to get an iPhone locked to AT&T unlocked.
What's wrong with asking the same question about unlocking over and over and over again until someone posts something you WANT to see?
It must be easier to ask how to unlock a phone than to search for the answer. I look at this forum daily and am always amazed at the number of posts on unlocking a phone. With a simple search you could find the answer right away and it never changes. I guess, if you ask the same question often enough, maybe one time the answer will change.
I ask some question about this topic. My brother bought iPhone4 from apple store without any carrier. But when he came our country .We cannot use this iphone because it's locked.I want to talk at&t support but ı havent an at&t account or wireless number.Do we learn all things about phone(which carrier ,is there any contract details on this phone etc) with only imei number?
And also How do At&t unlocked our phones ? they reached us which way ?
There is a difference between No Contract and Unlocked. No Contract does NOT mean unlocked. Perhaps it is locked to a different carrier, but AT&T is the only U.S. carrier who unlocks.

AT&T, in the qualification statement I posted several days ago, says that to unlock you must have an account with them, or have had one. So if you do not, you will not be able to get your iPhone unlocked. There's nothing more anyone here can say, no matter how many times people ask.
Or, it could be people checking to see if things have changed since, in my case just today, when I went to the AT&T store to ask about unlocking my iPhone they told me since I was no longer their customer I had to call Apple and have them unlock it for me. Now, I'm the first one to admit we don't have the brightest folks working at our store, but when they say there's nothing they can do where do we go from there?
Most reps at cellphone stores - with apoligies to any who might be reading who actually do have a brain in their heads - have no more idea as to the policies of their company than does my cat. Again here are AT&T's official requirements for unlocking an iPhone:

If you qualify, contact AT&T by the methods provided on that page.
Regards.
Again: Apple will not unlock any iPhone without the authorization of the carrier the phone is locked to. Never-ever, no matter what any lobotomized carrier employee says.
If AT&T ends up deciding that you're not qualified, that's the end of it, SOL. Any appeals of their decision has to go hgher up on the AT&T food chain, never Apple.
AT&T will unlock an iPhone even without having been a customer as long as you can show proof you purchased the phone from a store. You must call or email and request to have a phone unlocked and then fax the invoice (or whatever) to them. They will then unlock the phone for you after a 5 day waiting period.
This also solves the issue of being concerned with which random internet site to use to unlock and hoping it doesn't ruin your phone.
Hope this helps.
You actually don't need to have had an account with AT&T as long as you can prove proof of purchase. Yes there are bullet points for the qualifications but the paragraphs directly under that also allows for military and customers who bought phones directly from Apple and want to have them unlocked.

Incorrect. You have to show proof of purchase of a contract free, "no commitment" (full price) iPhone. Buying an iPhone and then defaulting on the contract won't get you unlocked.
also allows for military and customers who bought phones directly from Apple and want to have them unlocked.
Also not entirely correct. Military personnel have to be deployed (out of the country) to qualify.
AT&T Wireless- What are the eligibility requirements for unlocking iPhone?

Please stop and READ the thread you're posting to before you post. Apple can not unlock your phone. No one here can unlock your phone.
