Aperture unusable on my MBP 2010: constant kernel panics

Hi,

I recently started using Aperture 3.3 on my MacBook Pro 2010 (i5 2.4 GHz, RAM upgraded to 8 GB). I updated Aperture last week, but I already had Aperture installed before. I never really used it on this computer before last week, though.

Anyway, Aperture is totally unusable on my MacBook Pro and crashes constantly. Basically, I just browse some folders and suddenly the screen turns black, the keyboard and mouse actions have no result and I need to long-press the Power button to turn off my MBP and restart.

I am able to reproduce the problem consistenly, without even applying any adjustement or making any edit: I simply open Aperture, switch to "Split view" (not sure this is the correct term, I'm using Aperture in French), browse a couple of pictures in the Navigator and randomly move the mouse cursor. At some point (I think it actually happens when the mouse cursor hits the edges of the screen), the screen turns black.

My system/configuration:

The Aperture Library is local, but its referenced files are on a NAS (Synology DS209)

The HDD has 100 GB free

I ran some memory tests and everything seems fine

HDD permissions have been checked and repaired

No similar issue with other programs

No similar issue on my iMac on which the Aperture library references the same files on the same NAS

What I've tried so far, to no avail:

Uninstalling any Aperture plug-ins, including removing the files from both Plug-in directories

Creating a new Aperture library with only 30 pictures

Unchecking the Auto-hide option for the Dock, as at first I had the feeling that the crash happened when I put the mouse cursor at the bottom of the screen to show the Dock; however, I noticed that the crash also happen when the mouse cursor hits the other edges of the screen

Disabling any program launched at startup (now I only have Dropbox, Xmarks for Safari, the utility CheatSheet and my printer Wi-Fi scan utility)

Now, I don't know what else I can do to resolve the issue... The issue does not happen if I simply leave Aperture open without touching anything: I really suscept an issue with mouse interactions and the display driver.
