My Macbook Pro; 9.9 months old, 234 cycles. The battery current max has gone down to 96.8%, but it keeps fluctuating. Is it normal? Is there any way that I can increase it the current max?

Here is the Charge informaton:

Charge Information:

Charge Remaining (mAh): 4981

Fully Charged: No

Charging: No

Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 5578

Health Information:

Cycle Count: 235

Condition: Normal

Battery Installed: Yes

Amperage (mA): -1268

Voltage (mV): 12089

I have calibrated it recently when it was 97%. It reached to 99.9% but then since then it has dropped down to 96.7%. Is it harmful to calibrate it too often? Or at all considering by battery is only 9.9 months old?

No need, it's just naturally going down over time like they all do and the indicator isn't 100% accurate.

Hold the option key and click on the battery icon once in a blue moon and it it says it needs a new one then recalibrate it, test it out for awhile or take it in for a battery replacement.

But your doing quite well with 235 cycles on that battery at 97% or so, I wouldn't worry too much about it really.

That battery looks healthy and good. Condition is Normal as it should be. Capacity is fine for that many cycles. Voltage is good, in the range of 11.5 to 12.5 volts. But the cycle count is pretty high for a ten month old unit...that is around a cycle a day...really high usage on the battery...might try using the power line a little more of the day.

Otherwise, just keep using it and don't worry right now...just if the battery condition changes to something other than Nornal.
