Is Anyone Having MacBook Pro Retina Display Graphics Issues?

So, I'm wondering if anyone has been having issues with their new MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display graphics? I've installed all the updates and ran the diagnostics. Nothing appears to be wrong, but most of my animations or motions on the computer aren't fluent and are choppy. And at least once a day I'll run into an issue like this: http://d.pr/i/elqX

Just wondering if any of you are running into this issue. It also struggles with Flash (but I assume that is just something Adobe has to update on their end).

Cheers!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I'm having an issue with my new macbook pro 15 in retina display. I'm using it right now to type this, but the screen isn't working. I have it hooked to my samsung TV via the HDMI port. It went out yesterday after I was rendering a final cut project. I ejected my thunderbolt drives and all of sudden the screen just went black. It might be a logic board issue because the sd card slot has never worked, it only mounts a card after I log out and then back in. I have a genius appointment on Wednesday. I'm hoping they will just give me a new one, because I'm due to start on a new project in Abu Dhabi next month?

I had issues with the same GPU panic for the last few days and spent time debugging it. It started after I connected a 2nd external monitor, one for each TB port. It was very intermittent, where it would run for several hours, and then all of a sudden it wouldn't stay up for more than a few minutes. Reduced it to one monitor, still unstable. But would also work if I used it with built-in screen only.

I installed the grafX display switching to see if forcing built-in or discrete GPU would make difference. Negative, didn't seem to matter.

This morning I installed a temp gauge app via the App store that constantly reads and displays 24 temperatures. I was surprised how hot the unit got watching a video on one of the CPU readings went above 96 while the GPU stayed in the green. Also the fan speed went yellow. Today the system seems to be cooperating, but it's a much cooler and less humid day than the previous few days.

So I'm working with the theory that it's heat related, but not a damaged board, but a board that maxes out (and doesn't degrade gracefully) under challenging environmental conditions. Made worse if there are multiple displays and multiple TB attachments.

Just got machine (mid-2012 15" MBP retina) back from Apple its after graphics failed completely - started with the odd loss during dynamic switching, so soldiered along with gfxCardStatus keeping things on Integrated Only, but a couple of weeks ago even that began failing. Apple replaced logic board, so hoping that's fixed it for now. This is the third MBP I've had where the NVIDIA card has failed and had to be replaced - why Apple keep on using them I really don't know as they seem to be a complete liability.

"Nvidia is one of the biggest GPU designers and manufacturers." - Nobody is too big to fail.

"Their products in general are top notch." - which is also precisely what someone from NVIDIA would say I guess.

"I believe the issues the MBPs have are related to how Apple is integrating and managing the GPUs in the system. In this particular case it seems that their power and heat is not properly monitored and managed, leading to problems." - that's a great theory, certainly as good as mine, and certainly one that NVIDIA would roll out in their defence.

It looks like between us, we got all the bases covered - thank you.

Now - which is it?
