Is Anyone Having MacBook Pro Retina Display Graphics Issues?

So, I'm wondering if anyone has been having issues with their new MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display graphics? I've installed all the updates and ran the diagnostics. Nothing appears to be wrong, but most of my animations or motions on the computer aren't fluent and are choppy. And at least once a day I'll run into an issue like this: http://d.pr/i/elqX

Just wondering if any of you are running into this issue. It also struggles with Flash (but I assume that is just something Adobe has to update on their end).

Cheers!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I've installed gfxCardStatus, set it to both integrated mode, and discrete mode, and it looks as though its the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M (discrete mode) thats causing the problem.

Switching to integrated is fine, and doesn't cause any problems from what I can see... If I leave it on discrete, lock my machine, allow the screen to power off, then unlock my machine, I can consistently create artefacting on my screen, and slow redrawing rates if I attempt to type anything, or move a window, etc; which practically renders the machine unusable in this state.

Can anyone else recreate this issue using the same steps?

@Dualcyclone I got all these issues right away (about 1 hour from unboxing this machine).

While I was still having the problem - totally messed up screen as many have reported - I downloaded gfxCardStatus and managed to run it (note: switching spaces makes the display appear normal for a moment, before it goes wonky again). Switched to integrated and the issue disappeared immediately.

Hopefully it's just a driver issue.

To me it's obvious it has to do either with automatic switching, or the NVidia drivers.

@Niklaus Heger - Mine appeared pretty quickly too, and seems to bare no relation to Chrome usage; it seems to only cause a problem when unlocking the machine from a sleep state. I also get a brief respite when navigating through spaces, but similarly the problem returns after a short time.

I hope too that this is just a driver problem, but for the meanwhile, I have an appointment to meet a Genius Bar representative, who will hopefully offer an advance replacement; They will have to, since this is my business machine.

@Dualcyclone: I would not bother getting this looked at right now - it's a waste of time. Yes, it's a bug, but Mountain Lion will arrive next week; it's a free upgrade for retina MacBook Pro owners. Meanwhile gfxCardStatus / setting to integrated fixes it completely. There is nothing the genius bar can do for you at this point.

PS Donated $10 to Cody Krieger, I *love* gfxCardStatus. I don't think Apple's automated switching scheme is working very well at all, it seems to needlessly turn on dedicated graphics all the time.
