Is Anyone Having MacBook Pro Retina Display Graphics Issues?

So, I'm wondering if anyone has been having issues with their new MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display graphics? I've installed all the updates and ran the diagnostics. Nothing appears to be wrong, but most of my animations or motions on the computer aren't fluent and are choppy. And at least once a day I'll run into an issue like this: http://d.pr/i/elqX

Just wondering if any of you are running into this issue. It also struggles with Flash (but I assume that is just something Adobe has to update on their end).

Cheers!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

The title is pretty obvious: It's about graphics problems with the retina MacBook Pro. The problem if you have it is also pretty obvious as your screen gets completely messed up, random chunks of your actual screen go in various places. It's in the original post, actually so even if this thread is long, the complaint is the same.

I recommend this solution for now:

1 - Install gfxCardStatus and set it to "Integrated Only". This fixes the problem.

2 - Wait for Mountain Lion update which is coming next week - it should fix this issue, and others.

If you have stair-stepped areas of screen artifacts including flashing areas or areas of black, that is certainly a hardware fault that should be taken up with Apple right away. I suggest your local genius Bar as the appropriate venue.

The opening complaint on this thread is based on this screenshot:

With blocky chunks of other on-screen windows appearing in rectangular areas of the screen.

If you are still having these rectangular blocky problems AFTER the 18-July update, I think it also could be a different Hardware problem, and should be taken up with Apple (at least by calling AppleCare and describing the problem to them) so that you are on record as having a problem early-on. Even if they do not fix it right away, this may help your standing if a recall is issued.

Since there are serious software gfx issues right now, I would not dare to say that anything is a clear hardware fault. At least as far as discrete gfx are concerned (again use gfxCardStatus to find out whether you're on discrete or integrated, it's free!).

Visiting the genius bar for this very issue is at this point a waste of time. I'll do that when Mountain Lion is out and it's still not fixed.

Updated to Mountain Lion today. I think it has fixed the problem for me. I could recreate the problem everytime by using setting display to smallest setting, flurry screensaver, ensuring I was on the discrete graphics, and waiting for the screen to go to sleep and waking it up.

Have let that happen 3-4 times today and its recovered perfectly each time. So far......
