So I put in an order for a retina Macbook Pro on June 17 and as we all know the estimated time to ship is 3-4 weeks right now.
For those of you who also ordered online, have you received yours yet? Curious to see if the estimated time to ship is accurate or if they're just managing expectations.

My order shipped with delivery set for 7/11 by 10:30 am edt. I'm keeping an eagle eye out for it in case it's on the truck tomorrow, but I doubt that it will be.

About half an hour after my last post and my delivery status moved to "preparing for shipment" finally! :-)
I ordered my rMBP 2.3ghz w/ 16gb ram on Jun 22, as of today (July 9th), the mbp is still 'Processing', with an ETA ship of July 20-26th. Arrghh...
I already got part of my order tho, the Magic Mouse.

Estimated Delivery: 3 - 4 Weeks
Shipped: July 5th
Estimated Delivery: Monday July 16th
Currently: export scanned - Shanghai (as of Friday July 6th)
I have also ordered the same configuration on 30th June. (After I got s 8GB Stock retina I thought of ordering the 16GB one and nice of apple they extend my return policy of my 8GB one for 30 days). Anyway it looks like it takes around 18 days to change the status from processing to shipping. So hang in there you are just around the corner. Just update us about the status.

Ooh tomorrow is my 18 day anniversary, hopefully your hypothesis is correct! I ordered the 2.7/16/512 on June 22nd. The wait is killing me! My friend got his weeks ago, same spec. I will try to breathe though haha.

Has not moved from Louisville since 6am yesterday. I was hoping I may get it tomorrow but seems like it will be the 12th as it says.
incendentally, my shipping method was bumped up to 2-day shipping due to an issue i had with other parts of the order (resolved)--but that's not going to hurry the prosessing at all.
on a side note: this will be the first Apple-brand computer I've ever owned, and I last USED a mac back in 1989. I blame this mbp ..exposure.. on my coworkers.

honestly i don't remember that much, it was a friend's and all i did was hoard it and play "The Fool's Errand" all the time. besides, it would be beyond the scope of this thread's discussion and wouldn't be appropriate
A co-worker and I spent weeks getting through "The Fool's Errand." It was the only game I ever played on a Macintosh and was thoroughly enjoyable.
