Experience in delivery times for retina MBP so far?

So I put in an order for a retina Macbook Pro on June 17 and as we all know the estimated time to ship is 3-4 weeks right now.

For those of you who also ordered online, have you received yours yet? Curious to see if the estimated time to ship is accurate or if they're just managing expectations.

Yes, I'm impatient!

Yeah, I love the communities. Lots of answers from fellow Mac users. But not a place to get support from Apple and you'll be told that from time to time. That's why I called Apple twice which is the official way to get support short of going to a store. There's some sort of wrinkle in the ordering process this time, but I'll be patient and I'll never be rude - something else I appreciate about the forums - the general courtesy.

Can't really say what they're dealing with but the guy at the Apple store today acknowledged he had heard concerns about this particular issue. This thread was more about sharing experiences we're all having and it was wrong to express frustration. It will sort itself out. I have generally had incredible service from Apple which has been a big reason I have come to believe in the value of their products.

Getting angry and frustrated is part of the human experience. Nothing wrong with that.

We all have high hopes for Apple and get frustrated at their recent lack of quality control, so we have a right to voice it considering how much money we pay for these products.

Thankfully they are a company that does right to their costumers.

Enjoy your product and your complaining. hahaha

I originally ordered my MBPr straight after the WWDC announcement and was quoted 3-5 days delivery via finance, but after I didn't hear anything from them(Finance company) for three days I called up and asked if I could just change the payment method and be done with it. I was told that they can't change the payment method from Finance to Card payment and I'd have to cancel original order and order again.

I agreed to do that as I've been waiting ages already(I actually ordered a 15" MacBook Pro before the new ones were announced(again by Finance) and Barclays Partner Finance took over a month for me to approve my new address(which I sent them FOUR times, but they kept claiming they'd lost it(even though I received my copies back from them eventually!). After re-ordering on the 14th June the delivery went from 3-5days to 3-4 weeks!, I was still fine with this as I know their is high demand, but after reading about people getting their customised versions way before me and mine still says "processing" even though I ordered the Stock 2.6Ghz model, it's getting a little irritating
