Experience in delivery times for retina MBP so far?

If I remember correctly, all of my orders placed with Apple have been through FedEx (US).

Still processing unfortunately, but pending charge on credit card showed up today.

Ordered mine same day as you. I got the 8GB RAM though. I was hoping it'd ship today but nope. Is your estimated delivery date July 17-23 also? I'm getting impatient!

I ordered a 2.7/16/768 (and a thunderbolt display) as soon as the store opened on June 11, right after the announcement. The display was delivered in three dyas, but my laptop is still processing. Obviously it won't make the delivery estimate for July 9th. It is really frustrating to see how everybody else who order afterwards are receiving their laptops earlier while my order is stuck in processing.

I am having a really bad experience with Apple this time.

Oh, btw, my order is shipping to New York City, I don't think it is an extravagant destination, or the reason why the laptop is being delayed.

Same deal here in D.C. Gus - same order placed as soon as they opened on the 11th. Processing.

Ordered on June 14 (2.7/16/768) and got it on July 5 (3 weeks to the day) via FedEx. Came directly from Shanghi, China. I ordered through Apple Business people at my local Apple retail store.

Happy for you Jim. When you call Apple they just say, "well, you're still within your window," and then, "I've never heard of that." They're very friendly and I'm certain they really don't know what's going on. And we end up sounding like whiners, and then someone will come into the forum and say "you know, no one from Apple reads these forums."

So what do you do. You wait. But it inherently violates the implicit agreement, "first ordered, first served." We expect better from them.

Ordered on 6/11 a 2.7/16/768. Confirmation received 530p CT. Went to preparing for shipment yesterday.

So it's more than 4 weeks which when you ordered it was 2-3 weeks not even 3-4. Have you received any e-mail from Apple to be noticed about a delay?

I doubt that they do not read this forum. Just that they do not reply (or maybe they do, just not answering them in a formal way). After all this is a forum maintained by Apple.

I was quoted 3-5 weeks (bumped when I added the 768G drive).
