An iphone that has an international Warranty is not covered in India.....the problem is apple doesnt do anything to solve this problem...and if a person has a hardware problem his handset would not be replaced even if it holds an international warranty??

I am having an iphone 4s which was purchased outside india and holds an International warranty...

Recently on visiting to the service centre i learned that my handset cannot be replaced in india even if it has an international warranty....

i m stuck with the warranty thing ....

and i am helpless because apple does not support its coverage in india for IPHONES even if the handset has an iternational warranty...

What is apple doing to solve this problem?????

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

that is why I am writing this to apple....

We aren't Apple. We're just other Apple product users like you who claim to have some expertise in using their products. If you think you have a legal case (which I doubt) you would need to contact Apple coprporate through the contacts link at the bottom of this page, preferably providing them with written documentation showing where it states there is an international warranty. If you were just told this in a store, well, the store person can be wrong.

This means apple customer care is giving wrong informations....

???

If they are telling you that the iPhone is not covered in India for a purchase outside of India then they are not wrong. The only way they would be wrong is if they repair your non-Indian iPhone thinking it is under warranty -- and that would be to your benefit! Alternatively, if there were (and there isn't) an international warranty and they refused, then they would be wrong too, but are not in this case because there isn't.

Some Apple products do carry international warranties, and others do not.

It seems that u people are reluctant to your points....

And u people are overlooking to what I am saying ....

I am continuously saying that apple customer care was the one that told me this phone will be replaced any place outside India if that place has an apple's own store....

And I am not saying by my whims and fantasies....

And I am not saying that you people are wrong...

I am just saying that I got the wrong information from apples customer care....

That call was recorded for quality training purpose...

So I am not saying according my thoughts or whatever I have heard...

it's just that now I am having a problem and I am educating apple and u people....

I will have to deal with it....
