How do I reset my security questions?

Same here, telling me too many attempts, to wait 8 hrs!

What email address did you contact or what link did you go to to contact them?

I have the same problem, can't purchase anything on my iPad and I've searched high and low on now to reset it and nothing has worked.

I also have the same problem... clicked the "send reset security info email to XXXXX@gmail.com" button and it says "Email sent." Yet i havn't received any such email and it's been well over an hour.

I sent Apple Support an email yesterday about it and got this reply this morning;

"We're unable to reset passwords and security questions as of the moment. Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available."

So unfortunately we can't do anything at the moment. Hope this helps.

seriously this is absolutely ridiculous. they should just have a tab in the menu called "Security Question Settings" and this would be way easier. This is so stupid. 😠

It says under the second answer box 'Forget your answers?' and then it has a link saying 'reset your anser have an email sent to' and then your email address but its not my email address so it is sending email to a TOTALLY different email address !! 😟

I can actually edit the security questions and answers, and then I'm able to click the 'Save' button. It looks like it 'did' something, but then when I click into any other section, it tells me I haven't saved, and then gives me the option to save or discard my changes. I click save, but when I try to click to another section, it says the same thing.

Just to confirm it, I signed out and then signed back in, but the changes didn't save. It even has my birth year wrong.

I've just bought a MacBook Pro Retina, and it's my first Mac, so I only just signed up my Apple ID account. I never set up any security questions and answers, and I don't recall being prompted to. I'm trying to purchase Scrivener, and I'm left stuck on this catch 22, namely - "What are your existing answers to the questions you've never answered that you cannot now enter into our database?"

Brilliant. I was actually waiting for an iMac update, but then couldn't afford to delay my work any longer. After waiting approximately one month for my BTO rMBP to be delivered, I'm now quite happy to wait again and put my career on hold for the simplicity, convenience and beauty of it all.

Another person here trying to get the mysterious "email" to give you instructions on how to update the security questions. I have been on the phone and emailing Apple all day but for some reason, this one simple email will not show up. Unbelievable. So glad they just can't tell me how to do it. This IS rediculous!!!!

*** just tryed downloading somthin and it wanted my security question and it asked me questions that i had no idea what the answer was i hope apple fix this soon or i will be mad bro 😠
