SPAM level increased last 2-3 weeks

Last 2-3 week I started getting too many SPAM e-mails which come throw iCloud SPAM filter to my mailbox. It was never happened before, 15-20 SPAM from the same address: noreply@*.notmyselftoday.org

Looks 100% SMAP, and I am curious why iCloud's internal SPAM filter do not recognize and stop it. Sure I keep forwarding it as attachment to spam@me.com, but also keep getting more everyday.

Appreciate any suggestions!

I'm seeing the same thing -- batches of three, coming from the notmyselftoday.org domain.

I am in the same boat, since the iPhone 5, and the dissapointing ATV3 releases I have been considering getting off the Apple bandwagon. don't get me wrong I love my apple hardware but the last few releases have been dissapointing.

Now I get constant spam, I submit at least 10-20 mails a day to Spam@me.com with nothing to show for it. I was at least happy with Apple's iCloud services and how it all tied together. Now it's become more of a constant annoyance then anything😠

This problem is bizarre. It seems to select different email addresses at different times. My problems have gone away completely (knock on wood) but yours are at fever pitch. When I had my problems, everyone I knew was saying "you're nuts...WE don't have any problems."

Do you use .mac, .me and/or .icloud? I use .mac and .me exclusively and do not use .icloud email addresses. I realize they all resolve to one account, but I've had mine since dirt so they work on all three. I wonder if older addresses are the problem.

Feeling your pain!

Got this email and ... wow.. it looks genuine .. BUT I did not click the RENEW link and logged into App store and iTunes store but could not see any renew information. Came from dcloud.com so blocked this.

BE CAREFUL!

Apple - please look into this for your customers.

I've had 102 messages in the last 4 days. Have sent to spam@me.com, logged a support call that's gone to 3rd line and then phoned customer relations. They've done nothing but tell me that they can't control who emails me. Funny that google can though and every other mail provider. I'm getting sick of paying to download these messages that Apple seem uninterested or unable to stop. The customer relations guy asked me to forward some to him but ironically they never got there as their internal filters stopped it.

Argh.

The obvious choice appears to be Google Mail with its spam filtering.

What Apple needs to do is provide a pure contacts-based filtering solution.

If you ain't in my contacts, you're heading to spam - across all devices and

in the cloud.

It's as simple as that my Dear Jobs.

The present whitelist, blacklist, Bayes-filtering "super-advanced cloud" algorithm,

simply doesn't work.

Why not fix it with contacts-based filtering as is on Mac OS X Mail on all iOS devices

and in the cloud...

Seems like a no-brainer.

The spam filtering works great, evidenced by my 10+ years of near-perfect service. It just seems to be hiccuping at times. Mine only acted up for a couple of weeks, and now is back to perfect again.

Why Apple can't figure out this goofiness is beyond me. It's like the filter just stops. BAM. And in comes the spam. Mine started working just as fast--eventually.

Stay on them!

I finally turned on and configured my Mail client and set it up. And now only like 1 spam gets through a day. But I dont like keeping my computer on all the time since I'm not on it everyday. And to keep it on just to keep spam from getting to my phone seems stupid. Like another user had said, iOS needs to have Junk Email filtering.

But heres what I dont get. My "@me.com" is for work only and only a hand full of people have the actual address, the rest have an "alias" account. And from going to little to none in 3+ years to full blown 200+ a day, something seems fishy on Apples end.
