Update Fails to Install
Software update for Airport Utility 5.6.1 repeatedly fails to install I get an "unexpected error message" each time. All other updates install OK when I insatll them separately...

Same issue: when I downloaded the Airport Utility from support.apple.com the AirPortUtility5.6.1.dmg install failed. I run OSX 10.6.8. Any guesses?
I've never had this problem.

Maybe you need to trash the utility and redownload it.
It may be worth a trip tp an Apple store, phone call, or online support.

I use the old Express, occassionally I need to rebuild the the network with the reset button,(tiny papperclip size button)
Still does not explain the download issue!!!
I am running 5.7
Is it possible / reasonable to just delete the Airport software & reinstall? I really dont want to go thru the OS install hassle!
