aloha, i am trying to use the resume templates in pages, but its not in english.

This is what i see:

How do i get it to appear in english?

I have already went to the inspector icon and then the Text icon to make sure it spell checks in english

but i want all the templates to be shown to me in english.

please help me accomplish this.

It's placeholder text. (Latin actually.) Just click in it once, all of it will be selected, start typing.

Thanks a bunch Walt. I do think its odd that Apple chose to use Latin.

I think it would have been more suitable to give middle America some English euphemisms to use

in place of latin. This would help them with their resumes more than latin..

Hi Craig,

The purpose of placeholder text is to show what a block of text will look like on the page. Using English (or Spanish or French, etc.) would distract from that purpose as the viewer would become a reader, and attempt to find meaning in the text, rather than concentrate on the appearance of the text itself. Templates are a means of presenting your content, not a prescription for what content your document should contain.
