iMovie: deleting text from slides

Hi keiko - to delete titles and/or text, select the clip, and then in the Titles Pane clear any text from the text box and hit 'Update'.

To delete transitions, select them and hit Delete.

Are you using a Mac? If so, then when running iMovie, select "iMovie>About iMovie".

iMovie is sneaky. It applies Catspaw's answer for transitions to titles too.

To remove the title of a clip just select the clip (click on it) and hit the Delete key. iMovie removes the title but retains the video. (Depending on the situation, it may re-join the title clip with the clip that follows to re-make the clip used to create the title.)

Note that a title clip has a small "T" icon above the thumbnail. Essentially the Delete key removes the T, leaving the clip.

Hi Karl - thanks for that. I've never actually had to remove a title from a clip myself, and in my test didn't think to try the direct 'Delete'. Even simpler than I thought!
