When i open the lid and check the activity monitor a different process runs at 100% everytime. After I open the lid the process goes back to normal, the mbp cools down and fans slow down. It only started happening after few days of use.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've had the same issue for awhile now, and I figured out what caused it: iCloud's Documents and Data and Photos syncing are causing the Mac's CPU to overheat and run the fans--even if the computer isn't doing anything taxing. By disabling those two services, my fans instantly turned off, and the Mac has been buttery smooth since.
I'm guessing that they're constantly pinging the servers, similar to how DropBox decreases battery life. The issue is even apparent in the Yosemite Public Beta.
I am having the same issue. Today I woke up in the morning because the fans on my MacBook Pro 2015 spin like crazy. When I touched it, the back was hot.
I can see on top that there is a branched discussion, but I am unauthorized to see it. What's going on?
This just happened to me as well. This is a fire danger. What if the laptop is in a closed bag and it gets so hot it starts a fire on a plane flight. Inexcusable.
