Hello, so again I have tryied all suggestions on how to remove a card from the accout and nothing works. On top of it if you call support you have to send an email to get avaible time to talk with a live person WOW. Here is my story. Set up Iphone 4, later decided to purchase one app for $2.98 and then the next day my credit card was frauded for hundreds of dollars. I did not understand way the option is not there to delete card or way Apple can not stand behind their name and have this stopped. When is it enough? I have tryed going online to delete as well. I am more upset their is not a better support all the way around. And for the cell phone carriers that sell these types of phones to public also will not offer support. Gotta like the third party companies. Just thought I would share this story.

"None" option was NOT there -- however, our 8-year old had overdrawn our CC account with his purchases, so our balance was Red.

We input a different CC, thus paying for the owed amount, and BAM - the "None" option then appeared.

Naturally, we immediately changed our payment option to "None".

He can only use Gift Cards from now on. = )

Account is DEFINITELY older than 48 hours - more like 2 years old account. So a lot of the info in this thread, although an interesting read, is not right.

If you would read correctly, it was stated that any changes to the account payment information, such as adding a new card would allow the 48 hour window to open up again. One situation when new payment information is added is when a new account is set up, thus opening up a 48 hour window to choose the None payment option.

I never said it depended on the age of the account alone.
