Export Mac Mail folders and emails to Outlook for Mac

A few months back I have purchased a new mac book pro and since then I have been trying hard to cope- up with apple mail and its working. Though I have understood its basic working but I was never happy with it. So I installed Ms Office 2011 for mac. Outlook 2011 seemed pretty easy to operate and all the address and contacts could be placed in one place only. Later my concern was to import all the mails from apple mail over to outlook 2011 but the import function did not work for some reason. I also tried the methods explained earlier in this threads but all I got was blank folders. Apart from this I also tried some other methods to transfer mails but to no use. Then searching for some paid solutions I found http://mailexporterpro.com/ among the best solutions for Email conversion. I downloaded its trial version and to my surprise it worked like a charm. So I purchased this tool and all my emails along with respective folders in which they were stored were transferred in just few clicks. Not only the e mails but also the contacts and address book was migrated easily using this tool saving a lot of time and hard work involved in other methods. I thought of sharing my story as I have found unsatisfied users not only in this but other threads as well who dedicated too much time in converting emails.

Would it not be great if the mail app would actually tell you something like: "Hey, your export is done!"

It does, it parks the file on the desktop when it is done, it marks it a 'partial' until it is finished.
