There are probably still people questioning this matter as it seems almost unbelievable that, Apple could be so stupid as to outdate the ipad2 so quickly.
I was so impressed with, Apple and my ipad2 at first but they have made a serious mistake in trying to force everyone into buying the new products before they want to, or should have to.
I wanted to get the new iPad, but there is not enough reason to, and I won't be bullied into doing so just for a couple of tiny improvements, or because they are keeping things from my iPad 2 that it could obviously handle.
If they can't be bothered to keep my iPad2 up to date then it becomes pointless to stay with Apple.
People may as well buy the other cheaper throw away products made by other companies.
If, Apple want to produce short lived junk, then they lose all that was special about them.
How is the iPad outdated? It does exactly what it did when you purchased it?
Igot the I pad 2 but I re turn it for the new iPad and I amm vary happy that I did has there are a lot of new things coming for iPad 3that are not coming for the I pad 2

Obviously you know more about the products than the engineers that desiged them. You've correctly identified the issue: Apple management realized that the company's profits were obscenely high so they decided to take corrective action by deliberately angering their customers.
You're right up until the word, 'so'.
Then it should have said:-they decided to make their profits obscenely higher, and in the process not caring less wether or not they were angering their customers.
Because lets face it, how many options have people got when they want a tablet computer, when large companies are allowed to patent all the doors shut for those that may want to make something better.

You don't have much experience with sarcasm, I'm guessing.
You're right. I bought a new Mercedes Benz this year. It came with a 6 cylinder engine with 302 horsepower. I'm VERY upset that the 2013 model will be out in about a month and I hear it's going to have about a 30 horsepower bump. I think Mercedes should replace my engine with the more powerful engine don't you?
I'm also upset that the Nikon Camera I bought this year with 16 Megapixel is being updated with one which will have 24 Megapixel. Shouldn't Nikon update my camera to match the Megapixel count of the new one?
Now, if you don't get the sarcasm in all that, I'm sorry. But your iPad will do what it did the day you bought it and you really don't have the right to expect a product you bought to be retroactively updated with the newest technology.
Are you sure?

I never mentioned, rights!
And cars are a totally different matter, but sure, take it to a silly extreme in an effort to be right, if you like.
And the updates I'm talking about are not technology, they are software, in this case a deliberate blocking of the ability to use a new bit of software, there is a difference.
Anyway. I have no desire to get into a childish back and forth about it.
I just said what I thought on the, SIRI situation.
So please, go ahead and argue with yourself.

Yup.
I hope that you realize that there is no legal requirement for you to purchase Apple products. If you're not pleased, take your business elsewhere or simply live without a tablet. It's certainly not a necessity of life.

I am shocked, nay, aghast, that you would say something as horrible as that! 😉
Not going to be on the iPad 2 that's where you where all wrong http://www.redmondpie.com/siri-for-ipad-2-already-in-the-pipeline-screenshot/

Actually, you are wrong. That's an unconfirmed article from October 15th, 2011. Siri never came to the iPad. Apple has announced that it will NOT be available for the iPad 2 when iOS 6 is released.
What I don't get is that the iPhone 4S has the exact same specs: 512MB, Dual core A5 processor. Yet Siri runs fine on that but won't be released on the iPad 2 due to spec limitations?
