My macbook pro started running slow last night. I turned it off and waited til this morning to turn it on again. It is still running really slow when I browse through my dock or apps and everything takes forever to open, my fan is also running pretty loud, I could not hear it running until last night. Can anyone help me out?

I do not know your situation but I found this when I searched help in finder and typed slow and fan runs:
If graphics-intensive tasks slow down your computer
If your portable computer is slower than expected when you perform graphics-intensive tasks, such as playing games or editing video, open Energy Saver preferences. Depending on your computer, you may see options that let you improve graphics performance in exchange for shorter battery life.
If you see Graphics options, select Higher Performance.
You need to log out and then log in again for the change to take effect.
If you see the “Automatic graphic switching” option, deselect it.
Your computer will always use high-performance graphics.

According to that output, you don't have any non-Apple kernel extensions. Run Console.app and look for messages being repeated many thousands of times.
If you don't find anything there, you will probably have to take your machine into an Apple Store.

yeah just the other day, and yeah my video is really slow the audio is fine but the picture basically is frozen when I try to play any video files

looks like you need to trash twitter items. WHO is bud k?
Do you reset safari and dump cookies and empty cache? A LOT?
