office mac blurry on retina display

Does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with Office Mac being so blurry on the new retina display? So frustrating! Want to take it back. Love the computer so far though!

Like Mr. Fisher, I have had no problem with Word docs appearing crisp after making the modification. I will repeat here, however, that if you choose to have the system minimize your documents into the program icon in the Doc, rather than into the right-hand side of the Doc where they appear as separate items, the minimize-expand does not fix the fuzziness. Seems like voodoo magic, but there's probably some good reason for this behavior.

Yes! This article solved my problems. Thanks.

However it is very strange. I did an official update and in order to get it working I've tot go to the the Terminal utility using UNIX command touch to get it working. I'm wondering how would a user not knowing that the Terminal even exists and OSx is in fact a UNIX based system could solve this.

But anyway. It is working fine now, finaly no blurry office anymore on my great MBP.

Koos.

Although the application is in Hi-D now when working on the slides and text (image not 2x up tho), everything went back to blurry during presentation mode (Play mode)!

The only workaround now is to open the file using Keynote for presentation.. of course many of the settings will be changed and probably would get you mad. I don't know if MS will continue to service the 2011 to make it 100% compatible with retina, but it is definitely not yet ready status quo!
