Do I need an antenna for Power Mac G5 Wifi?

From the last 30 minutes I've spent surfing the interent about this subject I have learned that I need an AirPort Extreme Card.

Do I need the wifi antenna also? I think I read that without it the wifi is pretty weak but my router is just across the hall.

Also, let me know if there ANY other options to get wifi please!

You need an antenna for all G5 towers from 2003 to early 2005 models.

The T shaped antenna is easily found on the web.
