How is an app lost?

All apps on your iPad should be in your iTunes library on your computer.

If this app is not in your iTunes library on your computer and no longer available via the iTunes app store, kiss the app goodbye.

I think the app is gone. In other words, I think Apple killed it because my mom was a Slotomania junkie and she phoned me freaking out "where is it? where is it?"

I lost slotomania application also on Saturday , I have original iPad and I decided to upgrade it and I lost all of my applications, so I figured no big deal I will just download apps from store, my favorite app is slotomania... I thought I was going crazy it was not in app store could not believe it... I do have I phone and it is still on my iPhone but when I go onto slotomania this message comes up before I can play..." oops, we temporarily ran out of slotomania coins and buying coins is currently unavailable in the app store. But don't worry, they,ll be available very soon... I do not purchase coins, but I am hoping that this problem has something to do with our problem...good luck

There is an item named Apps under Library in the iTunes source list with iTunes on your computer. This is where 3rd party apps from the App store are available on your computer. You can download 3rd party apps from the App store with iTunes on computer in addition to downloading apps direct with the iPad. There is an Apps tab for the iPad sync preferences with iTunes for transferring apps from your iTunes library to the iPad and for removing an app from the iPad via the iTunes sync process without having to delete the app.

All the apps I have downloaded from the app store for my iPhone and iPad are in my iTunes library on my computer as designed and intended.

If I delete an app from my iPhone or iPad - lose an app by your definition, and the app is no longer available in the app store for whatever reason, all I need to do is re-transfer the app from my iTunes library on my computer to my iPad or iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
