Epson NX420 offline

For nearly 2 years I've been able to use my wireless Epson NX420 with few issues. A couple of days ago I received a message that my printer is "offline" and I can't figure out how to get it back online. The printer network status shows that it is connected to my network and the connection is excellent. I've reinstalled the printer using the USB cable. It works fine with the cable.

My computer is a 27 inch iMac that was purchased in August 2010. Running OS X 10.6.8. The printer is using driver version 9.00.

Any help would be grealy appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem!! It works fine with the USB cord attached but when i unplug it, it says the printer is offline!!! If someone could help that would be amazing!!

D3daz,

You are posting on a thread that is 1.5 years old, I'd recommend you reset the printing system. In addition because you did not create your own thread nor does it appear you created a profile there is no way for us to even know what iMac you own

D3daz,

Did you ever resolve this? I have the same issue on my MacBookPro OS X version 10.9. My printer driver is 9.04.

Did either of you trying cycling your router? (Turning it off for two minutes, then turning it back on again.) This seems to resolve the majority of wireless printer problems.
