Creating Apple ID without credit card

I read your post, and I'm having the same issue as well! I do not intend to use my Apple ID for purchases. I only want it for downloading a couple free apps. Besides, I dont even have a credit card. There should be another option. I understand Apple needs the info to charge accounts so no one skips payment on an app that costs. But maybe free apps shouldn't request billing and credit card info if the app is free. I have no idea if I'll ever be able to use this Apple ID because of that.

I had this problem a few years ago, so I know how to fix it. Instead of making a new apple ID anywhere, you have to try to buy something free. Go to the app store, and try to download a free app. When it asks you for an apple ID, then hit make a new account. You will be able to skip the part with the credit card, and make a new account.

Same issue here. I can create the Apple ID without the Credit Card easly enough by going to https://appleid.apple.com but when I try download an app from the App Store on the device it naturally wants me to sign in. When I sign in with the new Apple ID it says that the has never been used on the App Store, agree to terms, blab blah blah, and then requires a Credit Card. I tried creating an new ID by going to the App Store and downloading a free app after doing a master reset on the device but it still requires a Credit Card. So it seems you can create all the Apple ID's you want but if you actually want to use them to download any content on the iTunes store you'll have to cough up your Credit Card info.

I got the loop for create Apple ID without Creadit card.

1. Create new email address(Ex, Yahoo, gmail. etc)(Vary importent)

2. Open Itune(on computer), Click iTunes Store (on the left side of the iTunes window),

3. Navigate to the App Store by clicking on App Store from the top navigation bar.

4. Important: Before proceeding to the next step, you must download and install a free application. To find a free application, navigate to the Top Charts column on the right side of the App Store window. Scroll down until you see the list of Free Apps. Select any application by clicking on it. Then, click Free App underneath the application icon.

5. In the pop-up window, click Create Apple ID.

6 .You are directed to the "Welcome to the iTunes Store" screen. Click Continue.

7. You'll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Make sure you select the checkbox next to "I have read and agree to these terms and conditions."

8. Click Continue.

9.Enter your email address, create your password, continue to create and answer your security questions, and then enter your birthday but Don't enter an optional rescue email address and uncheck both ticked box about to get news and email from apple this is most importent.

10.Click Continue.

11.Select None as the payment type.

12.Continue to fill out the required name and address fields.

13.You'll then see a "Verify your Account" screen. Click Done, and then check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store.

14.Open the email, and click the link enclosed in the email to activate your account.

15.Once you click on the link, the Apple ID website should ask you to sign in with your account name and password.

16.After signing in, you should see that your email address is associated with your Apple ID. A button labeled "Return to the Store" should appear.

17.Once you sign in, you'll then see the below "Congratulations" screen. Click Start Shopping to be taken to the App Store home page.

If you still unable to create your ID without Creadit card then email me and I will create apple ID.

appleuser_123 iTS not necessary to create an id On Ipod first... u can simply use itunes to create the new id without creating an id on ipod.... 😝

First you should creat apple id on your ipod touch (not on a computer), choose one free app---> install app---> creat new apple id--> write your information---> CREDIT CARDS : none. Thats all! And u can use it

Go to Apple.com and go to sign in. There will be two sections. On the left will be a create apple ID button. Click on that and you will be sent to a sign up screen, and you won't have to type in your credit card info. This is where I signed up.

I surmise the "none" option does not appear for everyone. I have no explanation for that, since it has always been available for my account and everyone else I know.

Each time you give your credit card to anyone... restaurant, department store, supermarket, hotel, gas station attendant, etc. they "have" the exact same information, including your CC number, CVV code and expiration date.

It's just weird that anyone should "feel" less "safe" by giving credit card information to Apple, than a gas station attendant.

If Apple were to lose control of your credit card information it would be front page news all over the world. If a gas station attendant sells your CC to someone for $20, you'll be lucky to find out yourself a month from now.

Hello to everyone. I tried to create an apple id but at the session with the credit card i do NOT have the option to select ''NONE''.

If you create an account and enter your credit card details and activate everything. Once you have done that you can go onto your account information and click on edit payment information, it then gives you the option of none and removes any previous card details/information
