I Have a Telstar MP07 pocket projector for use with an iPod touch but the projector doesn't recognise the iPod (iOS5) - any thoughts/tips

According to this page, this product only works with the iPhone 4.

What type of connection (cable) are you using?

The iPod ony supports TV for the apps that support TV out. If you are not using one of those apps noting will display. One app is the Video app.
