Me either I just wanted to know how. You probably could of answered my question with less words than you used to be a Smart ***.
I don't see that you asked a question or that I replied to you at any time.
Too true, it is VERY easy to mis-understand what someone is trying to say just by reading text on a computer screen, as you have no other ways to figure out what the person is meaning or how to interpret what they have typed. I have been caught out by this myself.
In this case, it was extremely easy to understand what the poster was saying just by reading the text on the computer screen. (And, in fact, I've been easily understanding what people mean by just reading the text in their letters for decades).
Actually you did contribute, Meg. And achieved some points for it too !! Suggest you scan back through the complete post.
All the same, it's a shame it's all come up again; I thought we had eased the OP's mind.
Sorry to butt in.....Somehow I've been included in your chat string. I recieved the past few emails, updating me on your conversation...How did that happen? And beeter yet, how can I stop recieving them?
Yes, I know in this case it was extremely easy to tell what the poster meant by the message, but in some cases it can be easy to mis-interpret what someone has said, and to take it as an insult.

Maybe I'm the odd one out who mis-reads what is on the screen sometimes 😕

Yes, I'm aware I contributed to this thread. However, the user to whom I just replied and who felt the need to insult me never asked a question in this thread and I never replied to them, as I state in my post.

Click on the link in the upper right corner of the page that says "Stop receiving email notifications".
Yes. Thanks for the gentle wrist slap. The post has drifted on so long I had lost track along with one or two others. 😀
Sorry, didn't mean to sound snarky. I shouldn't have let a mild insult make me cranky. 🙂
Sorry but I was sent that message so I thought this was the thread I asked on. So again I'm sorry.
Apology accepted. However, even if it had been the thread you asked on, it would have been kind of rude.
these links do not seem to work any longer.
Perhaps you should ask a question specifically tailored to your problem. Maybe we can then find new links for you.
