How do I download music in my iTunes to my new ipad

iOS: Syncing with iTunes

Plug in your ipad into your computer. Click on the Ipad under "devices" in Itunes. Press sync and it should put your songs onto your Ipad. Your settings for the device might also be unchecked for music.
