Siri for iPad 2 in iOS 6

Why can't apple get Siri to iPad 2 ,seriously come on it has a A5chip and it is quiet powerful if an iPhone 4s can have it ,which still has a A5 chip?and in ios 6 they give the new iPad Siri and not iPad 2. I'm seriously I'm so disappointed with apple.i hope in future it comes or why not just in ios 6.0.

Jail break has proven that Siri works on ipad 2 even the beta versions did...

The shame is that features that can be supported are not.... It's all about the money, no matter what explanation they give that's why they don't...

Ipad 3 needed to be Bourgogne, just like ipad 4 with lightning connector an A6x chip...

You got the money get it for SIRI...

I DON'T THINK SO, then again that's just my pocket as I am happy with iPhone 5

Sadly, my next tablet will not be an Apple branded product. Not because of siri. As open as the MacOS has been since it's inception in the 80s, I find the lockdown of iOS to be so anti-Apple, I would rather take my money elsewhere.

Why would you buy a device that you can't do what you want with? The fact that you have to jailbreak is insane.

The lockdown so to speak is for a reason. Look at android a d the malware issue right now. Google android maleware. It's issue after issue. That's why apple keep a tight knit lock on it. The iPad can only be loaded with stuff from the apple store, which apple approves. It's more than"oh they want more money".

Better get some virus protection for your future android device :)

A partially locked down iOS I could deal with. If I had the option to install untrusted software by going into a preference and turning it off on my iPad, I'd be happy with it. But I don't even have that.

If OS X ever became completely locked down, I'd sadly look over at my Mac Plus, my Performa, my original G4 Tower, my PowerBook, my Mac min, and my MacBook and cry a little as I bought some Windows towers and installed LInux on them all...

There are too many apps I use that could never end up in the Mac App Store because of what they do.

Hopefully, that'll never happen and if it ever does…

Darn it, these friggin' hipsters 'round the globe are destroying the image and soon what defines Apple.

Well I guess we'll never know that it's of cores a greedy reasons but we've got to admit that we've agreed to a very large and tall list of agreements while we were so hungry and **** to setup and use the ipad or whatever was the ios thingy d so as I recall we don't have the right to complain about the APPLE'S product we are just a punch of users to them who PAY nothing more or nothing else I got u bro I’ve worked too hard to get my ipad 2 but it looks like it's not enough in order to have siri, all we have to do is just wait and wait who knows what will happen.

When Steve jobs was alive he released the iPhone 4, iPad 1 & 2 which had the A4 and the A5 chip. Then very sadly Steve jobs dies. Then the new iPad and iPhone 4S were released Both of which have Siri and the A5 & the A5X chips. Then the iPhone 5 was released with its powerful A6 chip. Then after a couple months the iPad 3 was released with its A6X chip and the new iPad didn't even Show up in the Apple website. The the iPad mini came out and that does not have a retina display and it had the 2 year old A5 chip.

I wish Steve jobs was here so that he could kick everyones ***.

Apple going back in time.

For those who want a table of that size, yes I do think it is a vital new product (I'm not sure what "step into the future" means. Does every new product have to be a "step into the future"?). It certainly is having sales that would show it to be an important product.

Now a question for you: Was the Mac Cube, which Mr. Jobs personall oversaw the development of, a "step into the future"?
