It doesn't imply anything of the sort. My comment directly addressed an issue raised by the person to whom I was conversing, he raised the idea regarding insistence. I interpret insistence as texting over and over in rapid succession, regardless of receiving a reply.

Ok, it's now after the big announcement. Someone explain to me how the iPad mini, with it's 1024x768 screen and A5 processor can get siri, but my iPad 2 with it's 1024x768 screen and A5 processor can't?

Because your iPad 2 does not have the same hardware based, multiple-microphone voice recognition/noise suppression system that the iPad Mini has.

Because Apple did not release Siri for the iPad 2.

They have not explained why.
