Siri for iPad 2 in iOS 6

Why can't apple get Siri to iPad 2 ,seriously come on it has a A5chip and it is quiet powerful if an iPhone 4s can have it ,which still has a A5 chip?and in ios 6 they give the new iPad Siri and not iPad 2. I'm seriously I'm so disappointed with apple.i hope in future it comes or why not just in ios 6.0.

I love a man puts everything into perspective with one small, precise sentence. " I didn't buy an iPad 2 for Siri, I bought an iPad 2 because I honestly needed a device to assist in my studies."

<appause>

Perfectly said. Really, didn't we all buy iPads for the great things they CAN do and CONTINUE to do even though they may go thru a bazillion upgrades and model changes. I don't know anyone who paid $849 for Siri. Well, maybe Tom Cruise.

I was out a few days and I come back and it is still the same ol' people arguin' about the same ol' stuff. Sheez.

So I went right to the source ....

I asked Siri why she was left out of IPad 2 ....

She said "Honey, they wouldn't be talking about me if I was in there. And I loooooooooooove the publicity!" (I have the Kim Kardashian model of Siri. )

Which, if you didn't know, is now also available in the Donald Trump model, "Your questions make me tired, you are so fired". And the Snoop Dog model (upgraded to Lion) "Your constant questions be nasty, convert over to Rasty".

Can you stop being such a big meanie? You blindly support apple in whatever they do even if there is proof that their reasons do not make any sense. You are big fans!

The issue here isn't that we were promised siri and didn't get it (which we weren't). The issue here is that Siri is included in a new update, but it will only be available on certain devices. There is no technical reason for doing this, and we are saying that Apple is making a very illogical decision and trying to figure out WHY this is. It's people like you who just come in here and go "hurr durr apple knows what they're doing. why dont you make your own ipad if you know so much" who just derail the conversation with your nonsense, and continue to be a sarcastic and condescending not nice person.

No one has provided any proof that that is actually true.

It may or may not be illogical (probably isn't though). However, unless and until Apple gives a reason, we don't know. Going on about it here on the forums is pointless.

And, by the way, "big meanie"? Seriously? I thought people had to be at least 13 years old to sign up here.

Look people, what happened, HAPPENED. I think it's pretty obvious for Apple to put their latest technology on their latest devices. I have 3rd gen. iPad and I have Siri. I couldn't wait for ios 6 and now I don't know the last time I used it. It's silly to still even discuss this because nothing's gonna change. If you're so desperate then get an app like Evi. All the devices will from now on get Siri (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad). I think it's great that Apple even expended Siri to 2 more devices. If it wouldn't, y'all wouldn't be crying over virtual assistent right now.

IPHONE 4S ANNOUNCMENT (Siri announcment) - October 2011

IPAD 3 ANNOUNCMENT - March 2012

IPAD 2 ANNOUNCMENT - FEBRUARY 2011

Did you ever think that devices before Siri announcment will get it?

"waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I now all of a sudden need to speak with a virtual assistant! The last year of my Ipad has been unbearable!!!!"

Last apple product? Ha im sure of that. What if the next Ipad can glow in the dark? Are you going to complain that your ipad 2 isnt supported by NEW TECHNOLOGY that is needed that allows the ipad to glow? Your Ipad cannot glow in the dark(siri) because it doesnt have the supported technology. Crying about it won't fix it because it cannot be done. I have no sympathy left anymore. I understand people not knowing right away, but the crying and complaining has gone over the top. You sound ridiculous
