Siri for iPad 2 in iOS 6

Why can't apple get Siri to iPad 2 ,seriously come on it has a A5chip and it is quiet powerful if an iPhone 4s can have it ,which still has a A5 chip?and in ios 6 they give the new iPad Siri and not iPad 2. I'm seriously I'm so disappointed with apple.i hope in future it comes or why not just in ios 6.0.

Have to agree with your first sentence but your second paragraph, not. The only way to introduce noise reduction like Audience provides is through hardware. Where this techology becomes essential and makes all the difference is in a noisy environment. Like say in a taxi cab in New York City.

Apple has tested Siri in previous hardware and their is no way to add noise-reduction technology without hardware.

Honestly? I have no issue not getting Siri on my iPad. There's already enough stuff on it that I consider bloatware (apps I never use and have no intention of using...iChat, Facetime, iMessage, Newsstand among others)

The last thing I want is even more megs eaten up by a program I don't want.

I put dragon dictation on for kicks and grins....used it twice and haven't touched it for months.

Siri or the potential for Siri does nothing for me.

I can appreciate only putting an app on a device that has the hardware to work it.

It is speech to text (e.g. you can use it to set reminders), but it also allows you to ask questions and get answers e.g. you could ask it something such as 'what is the weather forecast' and it will reply.

It's currently only on the iPhone 4S, but with iOS 6 in the Autumn it will be added to the iPad 3

This is the Siri page for the iPhone : http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/siri-faq.html

And for iOS 6 : http://www.apple.com/ios/ios6/#siri
