Cannot load 2 Gmail accounts at the same time in Safari (multiple sign-in)

This never used to be a problem before the latest Safari update:

When I try to open a window of the other Gmail account that I am logged into (multiple sign in), it always freezes close to the end of loading it. Really annoying. All the more reasons to use Chrome.

Always forced to use basic HTML mode but it has very limited functionality.

I have the same problem. Gmail works fine on all other browser, only Safari is broken. It used to work before on Safari too.

I have a workaround, but it's not elegant at all. You can load the second account in HTML mode. It works but it's ugly and you lose most features of Gmail.

Btw. Contrary to what some users say it is indeed possible to login to two or more gmail accounts, it's called multiple login. It's very useful if you don't want to have several browsers for each gmail account you own. There are many reasons why Gmail is better than a local Mail.app, but it's only evident for heavy mail users I think with many accounts and large inboxes (meaning 30+GB).

As you can see, I use Mail.

I have been for years, it's for my work email.

I prefer Gmail. In any case, there's a bug with Gmail and Safari, and it needs to be solved. (There's also a serious bug with Mail, which needs to be solved.)

Also, about emptying your inbox every day: that's the point — so one doesn't have to do that. What if you want to search your previous emails?

I'm sorry, but what you're suggesting is kind of an antiquicated thing to do.
