Multiple Track recording with USB mixer

I have a Behringer Xenyx X1204 USB 6 channel mixing table, that I use to record in Logic with a USB cable. I would like to know if in Logic it is possible to record multiple tracks simultaneously, assigning a different channel on the mixing table to each of the tracks.

For example I would like to record two guitars and two voices during a gig, and therefore record four tracks, so that I'll be able to mix them properly (as separate tracks) when I get home. I'm very new to Logic, so I'm hoping someone can give me some advice?

Logic can do this with no problem. The question is whether your Xenyx has inididual converters and outs for each track via usb or just has the stereo bus output via usb. Check your behringer specs.

On the site I bought it from it's classified as an audio interface. On the box it says: "Built-in stereo USB/Audio Interface to connect directly to your computer". This means that I can't use this mixer for what I want doesn't it....

The info I found says it converts 4 channels of audio. Is there a behringer user group? Or tech support? You could install the driver, hook it up, and see how many inputs show up in Logic.

Ok, I'll try that, and I'll look for a behringer user group.

I've been in touch with the shop I bought it from and they seem to say that it's just got a stereo output via USB.
