GoDaddy RSS Feed giving error "We had difficulty reading this feed. Connection Reset"

Hello all,

I have searched through many posts on this problem but i cannot find the solution to my own. I am posting this RSS feed to itunes:

http://news.qandagaming.com/podcasts-only/rss2.aspx

The feed checks out on http://www.feedvalidator.org/. I can also download it via the manual download. I have read several posts about godaddy not working with the itunes store. However, i just signed up for the service and it was marketed to me for being capable of uploading to the itunes store. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. If you need more information, please let me know. I really want to get this working, we are so excited about our podcast!

I am thinking we will have to pay for another service to host it (like libsyn). If this is the route we have to go, does anyone have a suggestion? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The feed looks OK; it validates, and can be subscribed to manually in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu, and the episode starts to download. It seemed rather slow to download, but that wouldn't cause an error when submitting - the media file isn't hosted at Godaddy but at media.podcastingmanager.com - I have to say that there have been problems reported with that service in the past, but it only seems a bit slow, it does work.

Go to https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast and submit the feed; if you get a 'can't read' error leave it for a day and try again just in case it'a a problem at their end (it does happen sometimes).

If you still get problems you could post the exact wording of the error here, but I have to say that there isn't much one can do as there is no obvious problem with your end of it.

Roger,

Thank you for the timely response. I decided to bite the bullet and pay for libsyn. I mean it is rather ridiculous to have to jump through so many hoops with godaddy. I posted it on libsyn and 5 minutes later it submitted successfully to itunes. I do appreciate the response and insight. I would recommend that people steer clear of godaddy and go with a more reliable service such as libsyn.com (wayyyyy faster download speeds)
