ipod touch won't sync

I had tried restoring and then backup all my files back to my ipod but it still shows the similar message saying ipod cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the Itunes library. All my songs are still in my itunes but my songs are no longer in my ipod. I need help in this. Thank you.

The message is saying that yo are trying to sync to the iPod 28.01 GB of media (7.01 GB more than the 19 GB available on the iPod. You either have to delete some items from your iPod or sync less media.

I had deleted many songs and videos and now my songs has became 4.4gb and video became 8.1gb and it still show the same message. I can't see why is there not enough space when my ipod has 32 gb memory when i am not using all. Thank you.

What are the two number now? The free storage available on the iPod and how more space iTunes says is needed?

The free storage available now is 10.5 GB, i have untick the part for sync photos, and now my ipod can be sync already but without photos. Photos became 2.1GB.

If you want to sync the photos you have to sync less other media.

You can use some compression on your music to allow syncing more media to the iPod. To do that go to the Summary pane for the iPod in iTunes and check the box that says "Convert higher bitrate songs to XX ACC.." XX set a 128 kbs is a good compression.
