Adobe Flash is not working in Safari (5.1.7 Snow Leopard)

It's been down for at least 6 months.I've uninstalled and reinstalled Safari and Flash but nothing has worked. I've already emptied my cache and deleted all extensions. Java is enabled. There is no Adobe Flash folder in the Adobe Application folder though. I can't find instructions on how to fix this.

I feel like I'm going crazy and I want to throw my computer out of the window...Or just switch permanently to Firefox. I have all of my passwords saved in Safari so I'd rather not do that though. Please help!

What if you don't have a Flash pane in the System Preferences?

I've been trying to install the latest Flash as instructed and keep getting the error upon installation.

Safari Preferences > Security > tick "Allow All Other Plugins"
