Shortcut key for Macbook Pro (Mid 2012) sleep and turn off display

Since there is no longer an eject button on the new Macbook Pro Retina (Mid 2012), what is the shortcut key to make it go to sleep (without shutting the lid) and (separately) to make the display turn off. It used to be ALT+CMD+Eject for Sleep and SHIFT+CTRL+Eject to turn off display.

Has anyone got an answer? Is there a list of new shortcut keys somewhere for this new model?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

This doesn't work for me unfortunately. This just brings up the normal dialog box that the Power Key alone brings up. There is an option for sleep obviously (but I'm looking for a direct keyboard shortcut for Sleep like in my question) and there is no option for sleeping the display alone (and leaving the computer awake).

What I do is even quicker and more convenient. I use Hot Corners in the Screen Saver preferences. Simply make the lower right-hand corner for Display Sleep. Then, when you get up to walk away from your MBPr, just diagonally swipe from top-left to bottom-right on the trackpad and the display will sleep (and will password lock your workstation if prefs for that are set correctly in System Preferences -- Security & Privacy -- General). I have a 5 second delay for requiring password in case of a mistaken activation of display sleep (which almost never happens for me). Hope this helps. It is an easy habit to keep.

I don't have a retina Mac but here is a simple Applescript to make it sleep. I can't test on a retina Macbook but it works on my iMac. Open up Applescript editor, paste this in, and run it.

tell application "Finder" to sleep

If it does what you want, you can create a Service for Finder using Automator and assign a keyboard shortcut to it or make an application that you can place on your desktop or in the dock
