you missed one word in my post: entirely , got it!
I'm sorry, I must have missed the OP's stipulation that it had to be done entirely in iWeb.
so why would the op posted: so confusing guys! 😟
if it's confusing enough for the op just in iweb alone, the op doesn't need anything outside of iweb.
Its confusing because he's being given all these different instructions where a simple table is all that's required.
Some times it easier to do things in what appears to be the hard way!
The easiest way without using any code is to create the table in iWork (or similar) and then copy and paste it iWeb but you need to do this every time the prices or items change.

1) you only assume the op has iwork and know how to create table and save to html.
2) it isn't easy cuz the op has to do it evry time of change (outside iweb)
easiest is do everything entirely in iweb
I have iWeb '09, not '08. I made a textbox and created a sample "menu" and it retained the text alignment. Maybe this was fixed in '09. However, one concern I have with this approach is that characters are not all created equal, some are wider than others. Trying to space things out into columns by the use of spaces will often result in misalignments. It does not look professional
I also created a set of three text boxes. This arrangement will ensure proper alignmnet of the columns. It really isn't that difficult to maintain unless maybe if you are changing your menu or prices every day. You can do this entirely within iWeb using the standard and simple iWeb tools. The fourth text box, as described in Cyclosaurus' post, groups them together. That part is not absolutely necessary but it has some advantages; you can align them without the fourth box.
