Sandbox security message

Good afternoon.

when I receive certain e mails I receive a security message saying I have a "Sandbox error" and that I have to either "continue" or "dismiss"

Either way E Mail freezes and I Force quit and re open and it is still frozen. The only way to correct this is to go to my iPad or iPhone and delete the inbox message there and this then frees up the Mail program on my MBP.

Can anyone shed light on this and a way to correct so that it does not re occur.

Many thanks for all suggestions.
