How to unlock your iphone 3gs when forgot password?

I changed my password this morning and forgot what I changed it to. Now my iphone 3gs is locked and I cannot get back in. What can I do to fix this problem?

Connect it to the last computer it synced with and restore it. This will remove the passcode.

Sorry, but yeah the only way to remove it is to restore it via iTunes. You can back up your data before the restore however.
