The georgia font single quotation mark shows up different in pages vs. text edit, Why?
I'll explain; when I use the single quotation mark in text edit it looks like an upside down raindrop and in pages it has a curve.

You have checked the "Use smart quote" option in Pages preferences.

The smart quote option was selected, thanks for that feedback. What about in Microsoft word for mac, is there an option similar?
Either you look your self or you ask in a Word forum. I don't use MS word.
Thanks, I looked it up. I don't use word often but I found the same option in the 'autocorrect' options under preferences.
