How do you change a wifi password in a MacBook Air?

We changed the password for our home wifi and now I can't join with my MacBook Air. It doesn't allow me to change the password and there's no place to "forget this network" like on the phone. I tried deleting the network under the advanced network settings too, but when I go back to join the wifi again it doesn't ask me for the password. Since it is still using the old password, it won't connect. Help!

You do that from your router's software so it's going to be different for every router. Locate the manual for your router for instructions. If you happen to use an Apple Airport Express, Airport Extreme or Time Capsule it is very easy. Simply open Airport Utilities (Command Spacebar and type Airport Utilities) and change it there otherwise you have to use your routers software utilties.
