I have a copy of win 7 however I have no cd drive. The copy of win 7 is a exe file, when I try to unzip it wont let me. If you have ichat you can remote in and help please.

You can't just run Windows straight from your Mac. You need either to use Apple's Boot Camp Assistant to set up a partition on which you install that Windows CD, or buy Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion and install it using a virtual machine.

you do not need Boot Camp Assistant on Mac Pro (tower) using a dedicated hard drive to iinstall Windows, the Windows DVD alone is fine. pull your drives except the one you will use and proceed boot the DVD. You will need Boot Camp Assistant then to partition and keep OS X along with Windows.

Yes you can also use VB or others to load Windows and burn the DVD also - if the OS X program didn't exist.

No superdrive? there are a couple ways to overcome that hurdle.
