My screen goes dark too fast. I just had my phone reset and can't figure out how to keep the screen light longer.

If you mean by it locking or the screen going to the lock screen, you would have to go to your settings, then go to general, and then go to "auto-lock". There, you can program how many minutes it would take for your screen to darken.

Yep my iPhone SE will stay on when plugged in and pandora is open and playing. But your correct there is no setting for this on iOS 8-11 as I know.
